As a fully integrated engineering and architectural firm, MWY offers a broad range of ancillary services designed to facilitate and expedite commercial and municipal projects. Our long-term relationships with municipalities and regulators have given us particular insight into interpreting and meeting construction and environmental standards. Hence, we are able to provide in-house many of the adjunct services required for small and large projects.

Stormwater Permitting: We work closely with the Arkansas Department of Pollution Control and Ecology to help our clients reconcile stormwater-permitting issues.

Industrial Pretreatment Programs: As experts in wastewater treatment design, our staff has the comprehensive knowledge and experience needed to help our clients achieve mandated pretreatment standards.

Rate Studies: As designers of water and sewer systems, we are especially qualified to provide rate studies to municipal water authorities. Our broad knowledge and unrivaled experience with these facilities have enabled us to accurately predict service rates for our clients.

Utility Relocation Projects: We are well-qualified to re-route water and sewage systems to accommodate road and development projects. Additionally, our well-established relationships with governmental and utility authorities help us to ensure smooth transition periods with minimal interruption of services.

Solid Waste Facilities: From preliminary studies to construction management, we provide a full spectrum of services to help municipalities effectively and economically manage solid-waste collection and management.

Special Projects: MWY’s recent special projects have included Har-Ber Acres, a 450-acre housing development, as well as the Harvey and Bernice Jones Center for Families, a 34-acre community center with a 350,000 square foot activities facility. We are well-equipped to handle all preliminary studies, surveying, site planning, design, architecture and engineering for such large projects.

Funding of Improvement Projects: Our staff offers up-to-date information and services related to funding sources and processes to help our clients obtain the federal loans, grants and commercial bond funding required to finance their projects.
