Architectural Services

Our architectural staff has extensive experience in the design of municipal, institutional and corporate structures, many in conjunction with our water-treatment and distribution systems. MWY’s architectural projects vary in scope from minor renovations to multi-million dollar facilities, from a public library renovation and expansion to an 80-bed nursing home. Other contracts have included a solid-waste transfer station, numerous water-treatment plant structures, several office parks and a fire station.

We approach each architectural project in the context of its purpose and function. For example, our architects designed a sewage lift station located in a major residential development to look like a private residence and then insulated it to eliminate potential noise pollution from its equipment. Additions and renovations to an electric cooperative’s headquarters and the aforementioned library were designed to blend with their existing structures – updating and improving their functionality while projecting a new and revitalized image.

As an integrated architecture and engineering firm, we work closely with our clients to create structures that not only fulfill their functions but enhance the community and its vision as well.
